The Marketing Operations Manager plays a crucial role within BD’s Commercial Excellence and Winning Portfolio Corporate Marketing Team. This individual is responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining best practices and processes for essential marketing operations across all Business Units and Regions at BD. The manager’s duties include forming and leading local teams to execute processes and establish feedback channels that facilitate continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities

The Marketing Operations Manager is tasked with central ownership of various marketing operations processes, including but not limited to:

  • Product discontinuation
  • Alternative product identification
  • Product lifecycle management
  • Demand forecasting
  • Country specific product registration requests

Key responsibilities include

  • Developing process training content and reference materials for local process owners.
  • Crafting and disseminating value messages to stakeholders at all levels through multiple communication channels to ensure effective process execution.
  • Establishing, tracking and reporting metrics for process execution and compliance.
  • Contributing to the development of BD’s Way of Marketing and GPDS training materials, as well as providing support for logistical needs and annual training calendar development.
  • Collaborating on enhancements to the Product Lifecycle Management operating model as part of the BD 2025 Winning Portfolio strategy.

Required Knowledge and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess:

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience with at least 3 years in product and/or marketing management, preferably within the MedTech industry.
  • Experience in executing marketing operations functions such as demand forecasting or product discontinuation.
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum; MBA preferred.
  • Ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in delivering messages and training to diverse audiences using various communication channels.
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple functional stakeholders.

Travel Requirement

Up to 15% travel may be required for this role.
